[Drunk Monk]

This is a small collection of sci-fi shots from Neill Blomkamp. It's high production, and features some name stars like Sigourney Weaver. The stories are gory, very gory, mostly about alien invasions but there's an odd parody of kitchen contraptions shot like a vintage TV commercial complete with CRT interference. Many of the stories don't get anywhere. The first two - the longest at 20+ mins do a fantastic job at world building but then just end - more like a proof of concept short. I was engaged but a bit put out by the massive goriness, which probably sounds off for me but that's an indicator of how gory it is. If you watch all the films, it's about the same amount of time as a regular movie. Some are quite short - like 6mins or less.
