Denny Crane is played by William Shatner on Boston Legal. It's a great show just for him. It's a legal drama sort of by David E. Kelly. It's a legal drama in the loosest sense of the word. Who knew you could empanel a jury and be on a trial in one morning? But Shatner is insane and great fun to watch. Shatner and James Spader play my favorite straight homosexual couple on television.
Torchwood is done by the folks who brought you Dr. Who. Caught one episode and didn't really care after that.
