After reading your review, I decided to watch this--two nights ago. Wait, that probably violates some physical law.
Anyway, yeah, I felt its time had come and gone. Would have appreciated it much more at the time of release. Still, I enjoyed it, though the threads didn't tie together as thoroughly as I wanted. Maybe I didn't grok that McGuffin you speak of. That's something I'm starting to specialize in. Failing to grok the McGuffin.
