Done. That wasn't so bad. Not great, but it had its moments. E9 takes a sharp turn that I didn't see coming but should have in retrospect.
If you bother to watch this, skip to E4. It's really all about Taika who makes his part of this work. Some of the supporting characters develop adorably, for pirates, that is. It's never laugh-out-loud funny, but some things, like the toe scene in the finale, were amusing.
Not D00M recommended, but to its credit, there are sword fights and tentacles.
