The Movies that Made Us
#3
More Episodes. I think they did it for Halloween since a lot of the episodes have a horror bent, ie Friday the 13th and Jaws. Last night I watched the episode about Halloween. The method of making the films is starting to wear on me. Too much jokey McJokeface. They don't interview Carpenter or Jamie Lee but they do have the original producer. There wasn't a lot of drama in the production. The producer needed money and his producing partner gave him money. They got a crew together and shot the film. Donald Pleasance was the only pain in the ass. He didn't want to be there. But I just heard an interview of him saying it was one of his favorite roles because he didn't have to play a crazy person in it. There was some good backstory on Carpetner's 2nd film, Assault on Precinct 13 which brought him to the eye of the producer. This episode wasn't as dishy as some of the other installments. I felt I knew a lot of the stuff going in. One more thing. They did show Jamie Lee on an episode of Columbo.
As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
