Right. Pierce. Weirdest Bond arc after George. He started in a TV Bond parody role and eventually becomes Bond.
Took me a long time to accept Judi as M. That was because of his depiction in the books. Bond had such respect for M that it became so moving when he tried to assassinate him. That element has been lost in the films as Bond is so cavalier. The other aspect of the books was that Bond was internally blown away by all the Bond girls where in the movies, he’s ultra suave. But the books shouldn’t Tai t the films because like so many franchises, it’s its own thing now.
We’ll see how Ralph does.
