Methinks "expected to make a full recovery" is one those standard phrases tacked on to a horrific clip just because the phrase exists.
I remain skeptical in this case. But what a tank partner she ended up with. That guy had so much presence of mind and engaged her to talk her down from any possible panic like DM with a Mickey Mouse watch.
