The Land of Laughs by Jonathan Carroll
#2
J. Carroll is a fave. I read "The Wooden Sea" decades ago and enjoyed it. He is a "magic-realism" sorta feller. I reconnected with his work through his FB page which he curates. Quotes, vignettes, photos (not his). Often a theme for the evening. I've read "Bathing the Lion" and "Crow's Dinner".

Two authors I read every day on FB: Jonathan Carroll and Heather Cox Richardson.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
