Didn't someone already review this? It was not what I was expecting at all. I thought there'd be more metal.
A metal drummer loses his hearing. A lot is done from the drummer's point of listening, so the sign language isn't subtitled until later and his initial decent into deafness carries the audience along well. Stacy called two plot turns. But we both enjoyed it for its intensity and story. We don't think it's a best picture, but we haven't seen many of the other candidates yet.
