Proud to be the first DOOMer to make the pilgrimage to the LL. It's only 3 hours away from our bungalow (but 8 hours from Mammoth).
It is a wonderful place and I'm eager to watch the compound develop. I'm sad we didn't get to experience one of those facebookpostable sunsets but Maeve & Yuki didn't vibe (Dani & Yuki had fun tho, including some humpin)
Left at LL: Yuki pee spot (he claims his territory), a broken yeti (all yetis are broken somewhere), possible DOOM drop (but I'm not tellin).
Received at LL: Awesome hike, awesome views, Mando s2e4, Irish tea, healthy shot of Teelings, and several pounds of burrs (we'll be pulling them off Yuki for days to come).
Can't wait to return, especially under non-pandemic conditions. Many thanks to G & tQ for the hospitality!
