I have to admit, Connery has always been my favorite Bond, and that isn't likely to change. But this was a nice change of pace, a refreshingly different take on the whole Bond franchise. I thoroughly enjoyed it for most of the reasons already cited. True, there was no T and A, but I'll accept that as part of the marketing. All in all, a fun Saturday afternoon outing.
But here's a question maybe one of you can answer. Why, after the hotel concierge tells him to have a nice day, does Peter Sellers turn and slug him in the mouth?
