Rewatched this again, or started to, after rewatching Dolemite. It's still so cray. According to legend, Tai cut this down from 10 hours of film, which might have explained more, but probably not. And it's a redub - Moore inserted himself in the 1986 Taiwanese film Ninja: The Final Duel in the same vein as What's Up Tiger Lily? (1966) or even Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993). I'm not sure I'm going to make it through to the end. I think I've reached my Dolemite limit for the last 12 hours. Didn't even know that was a thing until now. This, plus Telegraph Avenue (http://www.brotherhoodofdoom.com/doomFor...p?tid=5106) which has a character with a parallel story arc to Rudy Ray Moore, gives me plenty of background set up.
