Took the 2 wheels out yesterday to work and back to celebrate the time change. (Also, they are doing major construction on 3 sides of our building and recently took away 2 of our parking lots, so parking is at an extreme premium. On the bike, I was able to park next to the front door, rather than a mile away and having to rely on a shuttle to get to the office. Oh, and commuter lanes...I managed to get out of the house by 8:30am and catch the commuter lane at Lawrence and 280. So I was actually moving and when traffic wasn’t, I could lane split to the front of the line. On my Santa Cruz commute, I wouldn’t hit that door until after 9am (no commuter lanes south of there, or on 17)
All in all, it was a good day.
The duck is parked in the garage next to the Model A (amid piles of scrap wood and tools - I also need to clean out the garage)

PS: speaking of 2 wheels, we bought 2 of these last year and have been exploring Ft. Ord. They’re like off-road mopeds. Miles and miles of trails and paved roads with no cars. Lots of fun!
