The Meaning of Live
This is a doc made around the 2014 show, which I saw as a Fathom event. It catches a more candid perspective of the Pythons then, almost better than the show itself, delving into history and development of the show, and explores the personality dynamics. It's good, funny, and poignant again as Jones talks about his fading memory. I did laugh out loud a few times, just like with the aforementioned documentaries. The Pythons are just really funny when they are spontaneous - they always get me with something. The comments by Mike Myers and the making of the Stephen Hawking bit was interesting. I think it probably works better having seen that show, which I believe is also available on Netflix now - One Down, Five to Go - although I have no intention of rewatching that.
