I like the Dresden books quite a bit. I thought they started out a bit sophomoric (but entertaining) and then slowly started to get better and darker. They are one of my fave series.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.
