Just saw this because of the free HBO weekend. Great stupid fun. Obviously there are things that are silly - Why bother to drive around when you have an impregnable citadel and you can grow crops? Why let the rabble live around it? Why the mother's milk? Why the blood transfusions? Why didn't the huge son kill the father? etc. - but I could overlook all that because I was entertained (which was not so true of Jurassic World).
Funny about the Feral Kid theory - after it ended I thought that it seemed like all the other survivors of the old world were much older than Max. I thought maybe it was symbolic, like they were some of the old men who ruined the world the first time, and now doing it again, and the old women, with knowledge of nurturing - and some seeds.
My wife refused to watch it.
