I finally picked up "Black Star" (vinyl of course 
).
I poured a tall scotch, turned down the lights and braced myself for an emotional punch in the gut.
What a fucking amazing record. It's like being dragged down a dark hallway catching glimpses of misery and desperation in doorways as you pass by.
At the end you are flung through a window to land on the street below where you sit up wondering what the hell just happened.
