Just wondering if this happened to anyone else while watching The Force Awakens.
When Kylo Ren appeared, I immediately thought, "drive-in theater speaker." That's what his helmet-mask reminded me of. Then when he spoke, he sounded tinny and squawky just like a drive-in theater speaker. Once I'd made that association, it wouldn't let go. Every time Kylo Ren appeared, I was transported back into some drive-in theater -- not an altogether unpleasant feeling, as those were some good times.
