Yeah. It probably would have been better in 3-D.
It's nice they still have some super-models in the wasteland, conveniently dressed in flimsy white clothing.
I was feeling sad that the first chase into the desert wasn't as exciting as I hoped. But the last chase back from the desert really rocked. It saved the film from being marginal.
It seemed like we had seen a lot of this before, right down to the tanker trucks racing across the desert. Maybe Miller thought that if one tanker truck was cool in The Road Warrior, three would make this film even better. More cars, more better. It was a film all about production design and car design.
I still think Road Warrior was the best.
