And let me guess: if you drew a map of all of those spots, and placed a giant question mark in the middle, then followed your map to that question mark and opened the secret doors at the dot of the question mark, you'd go into a hatch where you'd find a whole bunch of monitoring stations showing you what was going on at the other spots and you'd have a video from the Dharma initiative or the Hanso corporation explaining that your job is to monitor everything and write it down in a notebook and then roll it up and put it in the vacuum tube and send your report off to "them."
