I caught this on ShowTime. I'll watch anything with Nicholas Cage because he can be so wonderful or so terrible depending on the film.
Here is the blurb from IMDB: A vengeful father escapes from hell and chases after the men who killed his daughter and kidnapped his granddaughter.
Cage is at his best as a Lost Soul? Fallen Angel? Holy Terminator? who kills bad guys in glorious 3D. It's a Tom Savini wet dream with flying body parts and exploding midsections. As I was watching this it screamed DOOM DOOM DOOM at me and I may buy a copy when it turns up in a $5 Best Buy bin JIC a gathering gets slow.
William Fichtner plays a Demon? Lost Soul? Accountant? called The Accountant calmly tracking cage and matching his indestructibility certain-death by certain-death.
Seriously, I have not seen a film that was pure mayhem with complete disregard for plot since MTV Celebrity Deathmatch.
I wish I had seen it in 3D at the theaters.
