The Last Stand
#1
This is Arnold Schwarzenegger's return to the big screen. And by Big screen, I do mean little monitor in the back of the seat in front of me. Oh, you heard that one?

Sadly, I enjoyed this film. It probably helped that I could actually see the picture since it was shot in bright sunlight.

Schwarzenegger plays the sheriff of a quiet town on the Mexican border called Summerton. Summerton is going to be the crossing point for the escaped leader of a mexican drug cartel. (His escape was bold and daring and made no sense at all) unless Schwarzenegger can stop him. Write your script here.

And yet, I was oddly engaged by the film. Maybe it was the lack of sleep. But the characters were quirky and charming. The plot had a few tweaks (OMG Schwarzenegger can't get around like he used to because he is old. Queue laughter) that were fun. It was like the Andy Hardy movies of old. Come on kids we're going to put on a show. But instead of a show, Schwarzenegger and the town residents have to scrape together their meager resources and blockade the town.

And it was fun. High Speed car chases. Gun fights. Fist fights and Jonnie Knoxville chops down a light pole.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit
