My dad listened to a metric tonne of celtic music when I was growing up and I kind of bristle at the stuff. I have even have a hard time with The Pogues, Flogging Molly, etc. That said, there's a few pieces that stand out. I particularly like this tin whistle piece (which I always knew as "Tin Whistles"):
