I think this was a preview for another movie I rented recently. Lots of sword fights. Digital blood a la 300. Very pretty to look at. I saw at the end that this is a Tarsem Singh movie. He did The Cell and The Fall (which I brought to a previous DOOM gathering). Both were also pretty to look at, but here, the movie was completely unengaging. William Hurt and Mickey Rourke were OK, but nothing was interesting at all. The Minotaur scene sucked. Really a meh movie that looked really great. (Except for the Gods who were stuck wearing really silly costumes...)
