My parents sent me the message this year by forgetting to call me on my birthday. They were actually two days late.
The message is either they are really embracing their Alzheimer's or they truly did just want two girls.
(My father has always insisted my B-Day is on June 25 because the me the guy who was supposed to have delivered the baby leaving the hospital at 11pm on the 25th. So he's three days late. This year that story stuck me as odd for the first time. It begged the question that if my father was showing after the delivery had already occurred, who took my mother to the hospital?)
