I concur. I was thinking there was a lot of "Aliens" in the script as well. Big bad corporation out to do anything to make a profit. Some day Giovanni Ribisi will grow up to be Paul Reiser.

The story was exactly as you expected. But it was wonderful to look at. The battle sequences at the end were awesome. Cameron really has his military stuff down. The whole thins was just great to watch. Lot's of details to flesh everything out. The 3-D was good, but we didn't see in IMAX either. It still had a plenty big enough screen though. Go see it now in the theaters on the big screen.

As I keep saying , it's a good thing all those poor benighted races out there have white folk to save them.

**Spoiler**
The lamest moment comes at the end when the benighted races decide to take on the advanced earth military. It doesn't make a lot of sense. The main plan is to attack and hope for the best. The Navi are all getting creamed when the Deus Ex Machina occurs. If somebody came up to me full of fire and brimstone and said hey we are going to attack these tanks with bows and arrows, I'd want to do little more battle plan thinking.
So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit
