It's not actually dead yet, but the waitress at Wednesday's open mic works there on Sundays and said they are closing.
That was my second job after picking up garbage at Blackberry Farm picnic area over the summer as a teen. Pete Donahue was a bus boy and got me the job. I was terrible at it...had no training. Had no idea what I was supposed to be doing. They fired me after a short stint, but (ironically) asked me to stay till the end of my shift, which I did.
I wonder what will happen to that spot...
