I don't think the 'the shop is closed' means what you think it means.

I have a day of work, a post office run, a business lunch in 'tola, a zoommeeting with the quarry, and I really need to make that grocery run.

Crap. I forgot this weekend is the country marathon.

Gonna cut out of Kung Fu early to make it to the boardwalk clam chowder fest. Then Stacy has a home client tonight so I’ll tuck into my work niche & do the work i planned to last night but didn’t (selecta 7’s show will be on)

Went to the Bascom library book sale. Got some books that I'll trade and found a couple of fairly rare CDs that I should make a good profit on. One of them DM might know about: Reggaebilly by Peter Rowan, recorded at Tuff Gong studios with a mix of bluegrass and reggae musicians.

Clean the blood off the back door. Then go out to the yard and cut the heads off the fiddlenecks. Like you do.

Who’s blood?

That certainly tips my grocery store run…

I'm no snitch.

Aoife cut her ear on one of our hikes and there was quite a bit of blood. She was also drenched from the rain. She was at the back door when she gave a good shake and blood went everywhere.

Aww poor pup. Dog ears bleed much more than they should.

Another Monday. Work & taxes.

Do taxes. Transcribe WW2 letters my grandfather wrote to my grandmother. Field media calls about my Elk video.

Heigh ho, heigh ho...

Over to svale to pick up a tile shipment, check in on mom, and write a review of BotG to try and coattail on its success. I should've jumped on this earlier as I saw it last week, but didn't think it would hit as hard as it has. Been seeing a lot of good film in the theaters - Chinese and Indian - but lately the ones I've been seeing have drawn little response, not like this one.

That Feckin tile shipment was secured on a pallet and I don’t have a pallet jack. I had to disassemble it all to move it. 6 tile boxes at 25kg each. I may have pulled a muscle in my back. Man, I hope not. I have a test tomorrow.

I have to move a bunch more stuff today to prepare for the window installation here next week. We’re doing all the downstairs windows in double pane (now required by the city of svale) and extending two to bring in more light. Plus our contractor will prep for the kitchen demolition.

Scale’s gonna suck for a few months during construction.

Then I’ve got yoga tonight. And dinner out. We’re treating ourselves to dinner in midtown every other yoga Wednesday night (it’s how Stacy has cleverly tricked me into leveling up out of the beginner class where I was perfectly happy and getting a decent workout already without having to do the wacky hand balancing, backbending, twist me in knots pretzelasana in the intermediate class).
