if the thought of Adam Carolla being in a movie puts you off, I think you might have to look beyond that fact. It was a negative for me, too. Yet, everybody kept giving the Hammer really good reviews.
It's about an aging carpenter who has one last shot at forty years of age of going to the Olympics as a boxer. It's got it's funny moments. It's got it's sweet moments. Even some of Carolla's bits are entertaining. It's a surprisingly good film. Maybe if it comes across for free on cable, you can see it.
