I rented this on accident

I'm still trying to remember the movie I wanted to rent. It was about a woman and her daughter who vacationed in a remote cabin. Her daughter befriends a serial kiler. I can't recall the title.

So anyway, I decide to watch this. Kevin Bacon is hilarious, right? Wrong.

He plays a recently relesed child molester trying to make sense of his life. He works in a lumber yard and keeps to himself. Since chicks dig mystery men he is approached by two coworkers. One he rejects outright and the other he allows in for sex and a ride home.

I won't say more because it is actually a good movie and is extremely character driven. Kevin Bacon is awesome. There - I said it. He plays a man tortured by his desire for undertage girls. He tries to fight his needs but eventually gives in.

Definitely not a date movie. 'Hard Candy' was not as effective as this.
