African Folk Tales Reimagined

This are 6 short films, under a half hour each, by African filmmakers, attached to unesco. The first one was okay. Twas a classic revenge tale, retold with an African accent, which meant interesting settings, music and costumes. I enjoyed the tone, which is not something I’d say about that much African cinema. This had nice production values and good pacing. I will watch more.

E2 felt long and I fell asleep. I don’t feel like I missed much tho. Or going back for it. Twas an ok nap.
