Will Smith pulls off a decent Nigerian accent and even acts a bit. But the film is so pro-football, constantly harping about its beauty and grace 'like Shakespeare', plus heavy handed U.S. propaganda on how great it is to be American and Christian overtones, that it feels manipulative and long-winded. Plus the tragic fall of the CTE suffering players is quite one-dimensional. Alec Baldwin is good, but a bit unbelievable that he'd turn like that. Some good slo-mo hard football hits tho. CTE is a major factor in boxing and MMA too. I'm not too sympathetic - they pay to play. Obviously getting hit like that will have its fallout.
