It's a companion piece sort of sequel to Cloverfield, JJ Abrams produced found footage monster movie.

The majority of the movie takes place in a bunker where our Heroine wakes up after a car crash. It's all about the paranoia of whether John Goodman is her rescuer or her captor. Some of it got very tedious. Thank god, it wasn't done with shaky cam like the last one. I felt there were better twists to be had but they went straightforward with it. But there is a lot of guessing over did Goodman or didn't Goodman.

It was a fine film for a Labor Day Sunday night.

This was an example of how a cheesy premise could become an entertaining, suspenseful tour-de-force by being well-written, well-acted and surprising the audience with small plot-twists every few minutes. I liked it much more than 'Cloverfield'.
