I want to ride again but it seems like all my free time is divided up between dogs, chores and errands.

Here's what I have (mine's a '96):

It cost a little more than mine, but has lower miles. Or, get a bike with a sidecar. Put dogs in sidecar, then run errands. You could even get them some goggles... All that's left is doing chores. ED that is the same reason that I haven't bought a car: It is a lot of money for something that just sits most of the time and I have City Car Share for those rare occasions that four wheels are needed. There needs to be a City Bike Share for people who just wanna ride once in a while.
