I'm more broken than you
My kid was diagnosed with it last week. I got it Saturday. I lost total body temperature regulation for a day or so, fever then chills then fever. Sometimes I'd feel totally well. No sinus congestion. Horrible hacking coughing fits. T was similar but she succumbed harder to the fever and sniffles.

I'm over most of it, except for this nasty ass cough and some seriously congested lungs, but I'm strangely used to that. I hurt like hell earlier this week and finished my submission deadlines in a feverish hallucinations, but I'm strangely used to that too.

Damn pork eaters. Don't eat pigs, dammit. The Bible says so.

That Leviticus was such a kidder, though. I'm sure he didn't mean it.

Bacon doesn't transmit disease. Bacon is perfect. Swine flu was sent down from Above to scourge the globe of vegetarians and their pale ilk. It, um, just went a little too far, I guess.

...for something Greg gave TQ....hmm, what could that be?

Still coughing like a dog. Headed out to Donner Pass next. I hear the long pig there is good, historically speaking.

The very definition of "TMI".

Do I win for being the first brother to have the old Colonoscopy thrill ride? Plus, they are sticking a camera down my throat as well. No half measures for me. The drugs better be good.

...but that was just for his own entertainment.

Good luck with that, Greg. Are they looking for something in particular?

Hope Diamond is what the doctor said.

Actually, I am a tad (scientific term) anemic and the doctors would like to know why.
