Crime series based on a Carl Hiassen novel. Vince Vaughn stars as a cop in Florida who keeps getting in trouble and becomes interested in an accident that seems to be murder. He's also annoyed by a realtor (Alex Moffat from SNL) who's built a huge house next door, so he tries to sabotage the sale. There's another plot thread about development on a nearby (made-up) island country and it all mostly ties in.
I'm enjoying it. Some far-fetched coincidences, but nothing too bad. (A lot of literature is based on that anyway, like the plot of Oliver Twist.) Vince Vaughn is himself, like he always is, but it works fine here. Reasonably entertaining and reasonably clever, so I'd recommend it if you like the sound of it.
