Good. Will was great, his kid was great. Oh - do have to mark it down a peg or two because it's missing the obligatory torture scene that I think all movies are now required to have.
I wanted to see Last King of Scotland and The Queen before working the Oscars, but I think I can do without the depressing for a while. Next movie we see REALLY needs to be a light hearted romp. Nick Cage with a flaming skull or something.

Me and The SigO saw "The Queen" (the movie, that is) and neither of us were impressed overall. Mirren herself is very good, but I just didn't care about any of the rest. No real character development. The Royals are out of touch. Tony Blair is Tony Blair.
Good looking film, but not much substance.
By the way, that was The SigO's movie of the year. She sees about one movie per year and she has gotten 2007 out of the way early.
In the Tudor Period, Fencing Masters were classified in the Vagrancy Laws along with Actors, Gypsys, Vagabonds, Sturdy Rogues, and the owners of performing bears.

Slow down there, Sailor. One film a year? That can't be right. Doesn't she know I work in the film business and that everyone must do their part to keep me employed and my bosses in gulfstream jets. One film a week. That's all we ask.

You mean one movie out at the theatre or one movie period? Does she DVD?

There's a scene where they are eating at North Beach Pizza. That's awesome. I used to love that place. It was the one that was right down from ED's old digs. We used to go there often.
Jaden is working on Kung Fu (not-Karate-cuz-Jackie-is-Miyagi) Kid. I'm not sure he has the chops for that.

I just saw Karate Kid last night. Machio didn't have the chops either, acting or Fu wise.

KK was all about Elizabeth Shue.
NKK was all about Hilary Swank.
PoH was all about North Beach Pizza.
