The Midnight Club (2022)
#1
Might as well start the thread for The Midnight Club which airs this week. Brought to you by the makers of The Haunting of Hill House and The Haunting of Bly Manor.

Why wasn't this titled The Haunting of Midnight Club? I'm not biting. Probably won't even have the same set builders, because they were the best part...

LLonka on the verge of going to Stanford finds out she has a very rare thyroid cancer. After a year of treatment she is done. Time for hospice. Naturally she finds the spookiest place to attend, a hospice for similarly afflicted teens in the woods on the Northern California coast. The place is called Brightcliffe. Brightcliffed has a deep history of it's own including housing a cult at one point. Michael Flanaga, show runner has a thing for haunted house.

The patients are the usual cross section of teens and Llonka's roommate is particularly cranky Irish woman.

It transpires that all the patients sneak out of their rooms at night and meet in the library to tell ghost stories. But all is not as it seems especially after Llonka tells her story which revolves around Brightcliff itself.
