The Queen was amazed to learn that Krypto, Superman's dog, was actually canon and appeared in the comics. She thought they made him up for this movie.
There is a bit of an origin story here of how Superman actually has a dog. Then we go to modern day where Krypto's relationship with Superman is threatened when Superman plans to marry Lois Lane. Krypto thinks he will no longer be wanted. Along the journey, Krypto has to learn a valuable lesson. Krypto also gets to make his own league of Super Pets. The pets all get to learn a lesson as well. Yes, the movie isn't geared towards my age group.
However, the movie is very funny. There are lots of fun gags. The Guinea pig villains are especially entertaining. It was a good way to spend ninety minutes. Duane Johnson plays Krypto and Kevin Hart is Max the Batman stand-in. And they weren't annoying as I usually find them. Keanu Reeves does a great job as the actual Batman. Kate McKinnon is the lead villain.

As a matter of fact, my anger does keep me warm
