Yeah, I watched this for Charlize. And she's great in this - a completely different role than anything she's done before with razor sharp comic timing and vamping it up as a wicked villainess. I thought this was going to be more about cannabis, but that's really a subplot to this black comedy thriller. It's more about a Mexican cartel and the mishaps of Oyelowo as an everyman underdog trying to negotiate his world collapsing. Joel Edgerton is the lead cad, which is amusing because the film is directed by his brother Nash, who clearly tapped Joel's vapid side. Not a stellar film, but entertaining enough for the exceptional performances of Charlize and Oyelowo.
