I was going to watch the Twilight Samurai which had arrived via DVD but then I read the less than glowing reviews here on the site and put the DVD back in the envelope.
Instead I watched this documentary on John Milius. The movie gave me a much greater appreciation of how much he did in the Seventies. He wrote a ton of films like Dirty Harry, Magnum Force and Apocalypse Now before going on to direct Conan and Red Dawn.
Red Dawn pretty much the end point of the height of his fame. He didn't produce much for the next twenty years. One of the weaknesses of the doc is they don't really discuss why his career went into such a decline except to blame it on left wing Hollywood.
But it was a good look at Hollywood during the Seventies. They interview Lucas, Scorsese, Spielberg, Coppola and a bunch of others. Lots of good making of stories.

So much for the flickr badge idea. Dammit
