As one reviewer put it, a thoughtful story about free will turned into a crappy romantic comedy. Yeah, it was well acted but it just seemed a little silly. A lot of chest beating about having found the right woman and not being separated from her. The initial conflict between Damon and the Bureau was good but it just became more of the same as the film wore on. Although, it did have Terrence Stamp on the bureau and he did his usual creepy Stamp portrayal.
I did like the interaction between Damon and Emily Blunt, good chatty rom com fun, but again it never went anywhere towards the end.
