What the heck happened? I was expecting a mean spirited comedy and it happened then it became a morality play about winning. This wasn't in the original. I don't think anyway.
At some point, Billy Bob got winning religion and the whole thing took a very boring and predictable turn. Not to mention it wasn't very funny. If you are going to do remakes, shouldn't you try and make them better.
Some scenes came straight out of the original, but the new scenes were crap. Although I did like the line about coming in second is like kissing your hot half sister.
