10 Questions for the Dalai Lama (2006) - Drunk Monk - 10-31-2007

Tibetan Buddhism for beginners.  Some nice historical footage, like H.H. the Dalai Lama first arriving at Potala as a child.  Filmmaker Rick Ray has some great footage of India, but many of the questions begin with a rather self absorbed history of what Rick Ray did to arrive at the questions.  Some of his narration seems coddling.  Other moments are almost enlightened.  It's worth your attention if you don't know anything about Tibet and want to learn.  It's also worth you know a lot about Tibet because it ends with H.H.t.D.L. addressing some intriguing questions and his answers are always fascinating.

Is it just me or does H.H.t.D.L.'s voice sound a lot like Yoda now?

Watched this again. Forgot we had seen it before. Major memory losses help keep things fresh.

Same reaction. Still no swordfights.
