City of Shadows - Drunk Monk - 12-23-2025
A detective haunted by his nephew’s suicide is brought back from leave after punching a fellow officer to help track down a serial killer targeting ceo tycoons and using Gaudi architecture as murder scenes. I like it so far because it shows Barcelona well, splicing historic footage in between scene changes. I keep going ‘been there, done that’ as it tours Gaudi sites and I know it’ll climax at Sagrada. 6 50 min eps. I’ll watch a few more.

Binged the rest for Xmas Eve. Nice to see so much gaudi. There were a lot of comments on how the Barcelona Olympics reshaped the city, destroying some ghettos and causing resentment. I liked that the two detectives both had past issues, and despite being of the opposite sex, don't hook up. But mostly it was about Gaudi.
Not particularly D00M recommended, unless you have a fondness for Spanish TV or Barca.
