Ultraman Omega - Drunk Monk - 12-23-2025
This is the new 2025 series, the 40th spin off, believe it or not, and Amazon Prime has a few dozen of the spin-offs. It began like a CGI videogame, but that was just to explain why Omega has amnesia. He falls to earth and befriends a kind hearted schlub. Then the first kaiju appears - an armored Dino with a long drill-like snout and tbis shifts into classic tokusatsu mode with stunt people in rubber suits. Notable about Ultraman Omega, he has a detachable head crest that afte like a boomerang scythe.
Watched this on a lark - not sure if I’ll watch more. Certainly not all. 25 half hour eps. Might cherry pick a few more tho. It’s a mindless watch and only the dubbed version is available on Amazon (a constant disappointment) but at least i don’t need to see it while watching.
