Killers of the Flower Moon (2023) - Greg - 01-29-2024

Wow. That was a lot of film. Three and a half hours. And things don't start to move until the two and a half hour mark then the movie shifts from first gear to second.

The Osage Indians of Oklahoma discover oil under the worthless land given to them as a reservation. Now they are the richest per capita people in the United States. Unscrupulous white people move in to take that money from them.

It is a well crafted film but just watching terrible events occur was numbing. You get to sit with tragedy for three and a half hours. I'm glad I saw the film so I know what the film is about but it wasn't a pleasant experience.
