Censor (2021) by Prano Bailey-Bond - cranefly - 03-05-2023 [Seen on Kanopy.] Enid is a movie censor dedicated to ridding the world of video nasties.  She is haunted by the disappearance of her sister at a young age, and comes to believe she's alive and working as an actress working in the video nasties business.  Enid pursues this hunch, becoming an actress in a video nasty. Enid is holding an axe in the poster, and apparently she wields it in the ending, but I nodded off andf missed it.  Too many things happen off-screen, and too much telling, rather than showing.  You see censors watching a movie, hearing screams and whatever, then one one the censors says, "We ought to trim that eye-gouge."  And so it goes.  Sounds better in the telling.  A big disappointment.
