Human Playground - Drunk Monk - 12-14-2022
This is a 6 ep series on sport and games narrated by Idris Elba. Eps under a half hour.
I only watched ep 3 Rite of Passage which was African bull wrestling, Shaolin, sumo, and reindeer racing. It was ok, sort of forced in terms of story, cramming 4 somewhat incongruous ideas together and trying to show their thematical link. The Shaolin section followed a bad ass kid and Yanlu’s school, which boasted 27k students I think. It was ok for what it was. The sumo portion was more interesting.
I doubt I’ll watch more. Not D00M recommended.
