The Door in the Hedge by Robin McKinley - King Bob - 01-04-2022
Picked this up on a whim at Recycle. It was two original fairy tales and two retellings of Grimm (The Frog Prince and The Seven Dancing Princesses). Kind of a slow moving style, slightly like Lord Dunsany. The Grimm retellings were the most successful, particularly The Seven Dancing Princesses. Entertaining, but slight.
The author also did a retelling of Beauty and the Beast, which I think came out back in the CWLP years.
